Market Participant Registration and New External User Sign-on

Preparations are underway to change how all users sign-on to IESO production and sandbox tools and environments to improve security and the login experience. These changes are described in the market-facing preliminary release plan, posted under R 45.1 of the IT Release Schedule and will affect users starting in May 2021.
Market participants are responsible to ensure all Account Holder contact information provided to the IESO is up to date. Maintaining the latest contact information is crucial to interactions with the IESO, otherwise market participants may not receive important notices, lose the ability to update market bids and offers, to submit outages, or to access settlement statements.
Each registered organization’s Applicant Representative should routinely review and update Contact Roles and make changes when their employees and authorized representatives change responsibilities or leave the organization. Applicant Representatives can support a seamless transition to the new sign-on method by ensuring registered contacts and users of IESO tools and environments are up to date.
