November Stakeholder Engagement Meetings - Agenda Posted and Registration Open

The agenda for the November 22-24 stakeholder engagement meetings is now available, and registration is open. The November engagement meetings will include:
- Adjustments to Intertie Flow Limits: a discussion on proposed language changes to the market rules, specifying when internal transmission constraints will be considered by the IESO in setting intertie flow limits.
- Resource Adequacy: an update of the 2021 Annual Acquisition Report (AAR) planned actions, key feedback received to date, and next steps for the 2022 AAR. This session also includes updates to performance testing procedures for Capacity Auction resources and an introduction to a proposed procurement fee framework to be used for future IESO procurements. A view into the Long-Term RFP engagement and next steps will also be provided.
- DER Potential Study: a presentation of the draft Detailed Project Plan outlining the key components of the study, as well as a discussion on the study’s inputs, methodology, scenarios, and underlying assumptions.
- IESO Summit-Lite – Ontario’s Evolving Electricity System: A Consumer Perspective: a reminder to join us for the IESO Summit-Lite on November 24 from 9 am to noon. Participants will hear from utilities and consumer segments at the forefront of driving change in the power sector and how they're achieving energy goals, overcoming barriers, and preparing for opportunities in the future. Registration for the Summit-Lite is open, and the agenda will be posted soon.
