Target Release Plan for changes to IESO IT systems posted for review
March 17, 2016
The plan is posted for review under Release 35.1 on the Release Calendar at IT Release Schedule.
Two changes have been added since the Preliminary Plan was published, one in preparation for the outage system replacement later this year and one for Demand Response participants.
Participants submitting outages to the IESO via the Online Outage Request Tool or the API for the Integrated Outage Management System (IOMS) will see a change in some station names. This will affect outages submitted to the IESO.
For Demand Response participants, two new private reports will be published on the IESO reports site to communicate Standby and Activation notices.
Also included in this plan are:
- implementation of the new Market Information Management (MIM) system, providing new contact roles for accessing the new Energy Market Interface (EMI), and publishing of new private Bid/Offer reports,
- the Adequacy Reporting engagement initiative, and
- notification of the upcoming IESO SCADA System upgrade.
