Technical Panel Determinations

The Technical Panel is requesting feedback on two market rule amendment proposals:
- Enabling Co-located Hybrid Resources (MR-00474-R00) – proposes to provide market participants with additional flexibility to manage multiple facilities behind a connection point.
- Replacement of the IESO Settlement System: New Implementation Date (MR-00475-R00) - The replacement of the IESO Settlement System (RSS) project is moving forward with a targeted implementation date of May 1, 2023. Additional information on the RSS can be found on the Market Renewal Program implementation engagement web page.
Stakeholders can email their comments to rule.amendments@ieso.ca by February 7, 2023. The amendment proposals are posted on the proposed market rule amendment web page.
Additionally, the Technical Panel unanimously voted to recommend changes to its Terms of Reference, which include amendments to delineate the different ways that the IESO can seek advice, recommendations and input from the Technical Panel. This document is available on the Technical Panel web page.
