Regional Electricity Forum Agenda Available

Join almost 400 individuals who have already registered for the Regional Electricity Forum being held on January 20. The theme of this year’s event is Strengthening Communities Through Energy Choices and will foster a dialogue about how electricity can support the growth, resiliency and vibrancy among communities across Ontario.
During the morning session, attendees will learn about provincial and local electricity perspectives - including thoughts from IESO President and CEO Terry Young, who will be interviewed by QUEST Executive Director Tonja Leach. An overview of the IESO’s recently published Annual Planning Outlook for Ontario will follow. The Advanced Energy Management Alliance will share their perspective on the future of distributed energy resources and a group of expert panelists will discuss how to strengthen communities through local energy choices. Five Regional Network sessions will be held in the afternoon to reflect on what was heard and to discuss how this information might help to inform regional issues or shape future discussions.
