New engagement on energy payments for economic activation of DR resources

Because energy payments for economic dispatch of demand response resources is a complex issue and would be a substantive change to Ontario’s energy market, the IESO has determined that a broader stakeholder engagement is needed.
The draft engagement plan is posted for stakeholder review and comment by September 11. The first engagement meeting will be held in October – stay tuned for further details in a future issue of the Bulletin.
