Residential end use survey results now posted

December 13, 2018

The IESO contracted with the Cadmus Group to undertake its first ever province-wide residential end use survey (REUS) to inform energy efficiency program design and long-term forecasting. Administered over the summer of 2018 to over 3,000 households, the survey covers a range of home characteristics, technologies and behaviours that drive energy use.

A key outcome of the survey is a reporting tool that allows users to query survey results by region and demographic variables to maximize the value of data to support planning and program delivery. The final project report and reporting tool are now available on the project webpage for review and download. For more information about the REUS, please contact homeenergysurvey@ieso.ca.
