March 6 Technical Panel meeting agenda now available

The Agenda for the March 6 Technical Panel meeting is now posted on the Technical Panel webpage. The meeting is being held in downtown Toronto from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and is open to the public. To register for the meeting, please send an email to engagement@ieso.ca indicating whether attendance in person or via teleconference is preferred.
During the meeting, Technical Panel members will review three proposed rule amendments.
Two of the proposed amendments will be considered by the Panel to determine if they are adequate to be sent for final consideration by the IESO Board. These amendments relate to the deletion of reference to regulated settlement (including the Rural and Remote settlement and the Debt Retirement Charge) and adding clarity to the rules for enabling system flexibility in the thirty minute operating reserve market.
The third amendment relates to adding clarity to the rules for station service obligations where discussion with panel members will determine if it should be posted for broader stakeholder comment.
Additionally, an information item on capacity exports will also be provided. Materials for these items will be posted to the Technical Panel webpage shortly.
The IESO Technical Panel proposes and reviews amendments to the Market Rules, and as requested, advises the Board of Directors on specific technical issues relating to the operation of the IESO-administered markets.
