Follow-up from Review of the IMDC Process engagement: changes to market manuals
August 17, 2017
The IESO has completed a stakeholder engagement initiative to review the IMDC (Interim Market Document Change) process. The IMDC process is part of the baseline process. It is used to introduce a change to a market facing document (e.g. market manuals) between two baseline publication dates.
The IESO presented the results of its review to stakeholders on March 30 and recently updated the feedback to include a response to an additional question. The response document is available here.
As a result of this engagement, changes have been published in Baseline 38.0. Now posted on the Pending Changes - Documents page are a Quick Take on the IMDC Process and a redlined Market Manual 2.13: Market Document Baseline Management. These documents incorporate feedback provided through the engagement initiative to provide more transparency into the IMDC process and to provide more time for stakeholder comments to be considered by the IESO. Any comments on these proposed changes can be sent to pending.changes@ieso.ca until August 21.
