Register Conservation Framework Mid-Term Review webinar - July 6

The IESO is inviting all interested parties to participate in the second public webinar of the Conservation Framework: Mid-Term Review engagement initiative to be held on July 6 at 1:00 pm. This webinar will seek input from all attendees on the definition of conservation and demand management (CDM) used in the Conservation First Framework and Industrial Accelerator Program. Participants will be invited to provide their input on what technologies and services should be eligible under the definition of CDM in the second half of the framework in order to support the policy objectives set out by the Government for CDM in Ontario. An update on progress against the Mid-term Review project plan will also be provided.
This engagement initiative was launched to seek input to inform the mid-term review of the conservation framework which includes the 2015 to 2020 Conservation First Framework and Industrial Accelerator Program, and is open to all interested parties. The review will focus on energy savings targets, budgets, progress, lessons learned (on cost recovery, performance incentive mechanisms, conservation and demand management—and their contributions to regional planning), and alignment with Ontario’s Climate Change Action Plan.
