First meeting of the Grid-LDC Interoperability Standing Committee - March 9
February 16, 2017
The agenda is now available for the first meeting of the IESO’s Grid-LDC Interoperability Standing Committee. The meeting will be held on March 9 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Mississauga. Agenda items include perspectives on some of the emerging challenges and opportunities associated with distributed energy resources along with opportunities for members to collaborate on future agenda topics and the Committee’s objectives as proposed in the draft terms of reference. Meeting materials will be posted in advance of the meeting on the Grid-LDC Interoperability Standing Committee webpage.
The Standing Committee has been established as a forum for its members to discuss matters relating to the coordination of IESO and LDC-controlled grid resources and to continue development of the Grid-LDC Interoperability and Data Sharing Framework.
Membership on the Committee is open to operations representatives of distribution and transmission companies who have a broad knowledge of grid operations. The IESO will also consider other representatives who wish to attend meetings – particularly individuals who might contribute to discussions on emerging technologies and other energy related businesses.
