Conservation Framework: Mid-term Review update

Following a public call for applications, the IESO has appointed the members of the Conservation Framework: Mid-Term Review Advisory Group based on the 30 applications received. The Mid-Term Review Advisory Group, made up of a variety of representatives, will provide support to the broader engagement and tackle more detailed discussions. The first meeting of the Advisory Group is being targeted for later in February, where members will have an opportunity to provide input to the scope of this initiative.
The Conservation Framework: Mid-Term Review will inform potential approaches to achieving conservation objectives to 2020 and beyond. The engagement initiative will seek input from LDCs, customers, channel partners and other interested parties on the review of the Conservation First Framework and the Industrial Accelerator Program with a focus on energy savings targets, budgets, progress, lessons learned and how they align with Ontario’s Climate Change Action Plan. The first meeting of the broader engagement initiative is expected in early Q2 2017.
