Upcoming Webinar: Interchange Enhancements

The IESO is planning to make changes with respect to the submission of e-Tags and the management of those transactions specifically within the mandatory window. All interested stakeholders are invited to a webinar on Tuesday, November 29 from 1:00pm-2:30pm to discuss these changes.
The Interchange Enhancements project is aimed to improve the operation and management of interchange scheduling related tasks by enhancing existing interchange scheduling systems and processes. To support this objective, the project aims to limit manual intervention and error margins and reduce time spent on the phone for both market participants and the IESO’s control room operators. One of the main benefits the IESO is pursuing will be to enable market participants to manage e-Tag ID changes electronically, without the need for IESO operations approval within the existing mandatory window.
