Enhancements to IESO interchange scheduling process
June 30, 2016
The IESO will be implementing a number of enhancements to tools, processes and procedures to reduce manual activities when managing interchange scheduling. Some of these changes will impact how importers and exporters will interact with the IESO. Reducing manual effort related to interchange scheduling and increasing productivity for both the IESO and market participants will help to manage new operational challenges of tomorrow. Stakeholders will be engaged in this initiative through education of the changes, soliciting feedback and providing opportunities for training and testing. Next steps on this engagement will be communicated through the IESO Bulletin this fall.
