Market document changes available for review in Baseline 34.1

October 15, 2015

Four times per year, the IESO runs a formal process, called the baseline, to revise Market Manuals and related documents that result from recently approved Market Rule amendments or technical system changes.

A large number of the document updates in this baseline will enable an annual Demand Response Auction – the first auction is scheduled for December 2015. This baseline also covers document changes for Limiting Constrained-Off Congestion Management Settlement Credits (CMSC), Transmission Rights Clearing Account Disbursement, System Impact Assessment forms, among other things. The Market Manuals and forms available for review in this baseline are found at Pending Changes - Documents.

In addition to the currently posted documents, Market Manual 5.5 – Physical Markets Settlement Statements will be posted shortly. It is expected to be updated to include the DR Auction and two new charge types for the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP).

Comments on Baseline 34.1 documents may be sent to by October 30. The current Baseline Plan is available at Baseline Schedule.
