Demand Response Auction Registration Notice for Market Participants

All market participants can now register as a Demand Response Auction Participant (DRAP) in order to participate in the 2015 Demand Response Auction. Registering for this new authorization type is available through Online IESO.
Participants are encouraged to start the DRAP authorization process as soon as possible (the last day for initiating the DRAP authorization is September 30) to ensure the process is completed by mid-October. Please note that final approval to become authorized will not happen before September 18, 2015, when the market rules become effective.
Participants should refer to the July 23 presentation for an overview of the DRAP authorization process.
Please note that DR contributors who have signed with an aggregator do not need to register directly with the IESO.
