The IESO is seeking input from stakeholders on a report it is preparing with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) that explores out-of-province opportunities to help meet Ontario's demand and reliability requirements through the interties. The report will be completed by June 30 and is in response to a recent letter from the Minister of Energy.

To help guide input, stakeholders are invited to review a backgrounder including questions for input on this initiative. Comments can be submitted by email to stakeholder.engagement@ieso.ca or via on-line survey. The deadline for comments is May 23, 2014.

Input will be posted on the Review of Ontario's Interties webpage and considered by the IESO and OPA in the development of its joint report to the Minister.
