The IESO is launching a stakeholder consultation to review the prudential framework used to mitigate credit risk in the real-time electricity market. This review is relevant to all IESO market participants and is an opportunity to provide feedback and recommendations on the prudential framework.

The initial meeting of this stakeholder engagement, 'Prudential Review - 2013' (SE-107), will take place on the morning of February 28 near Toronto's Pearson International Airport. At the meeting, the IESO will review the stakeholder engagement plan, and initiate an open discussion on opportunities to improve the prudential framework. The draft stakeholder engagement plan is now available and the agenda and meeting materials will be posted in advance of the meeting.
