The IESO is seeking stakeholder comment as it launches a review of the Hourly Ontario Energy Price (HOEP) under the stakeholder engagement initiative, SE-105 HOEP Review. This review is in response to a recommendation included in the 2011 Market Forum Report. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure that the approach and analysis in this review meet the objectives of this recommendation.

As a first step, interested parties are invited to provide comments on the Stakeholder Engagement Plan by November 23, 2012. A stakeholder meeting to discuss the study parameters and approach for the HOEP Review will be held on December 11, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Toronto airport area.
