The second meeting of the Floor Price Focus Group will take place on January 24, close to Toronto's Pearson International Airport. The Floor Price Focus Group is an open consultation focused on the design details of the Renewable Integration Design Principles outlined in the 'Dispatch Order for Baseload Generation Discussion Paper'.

The discussion paper summarizes considerations for defining a relative dispatch order for baseload generators (wind, must-run hydro, solar, and nuclear) during times of surplus baseload generation, and describes the technical limitations of generators based on fuel type. All interested stakeholders can register for the meeting by sending an email to engagement@ieso.ca. Please indicate if you will be attending the meeting in person or via teleconference.

The agenda and meeting material will be posted closer to the meeting date. The Floor Price Focus Group is part of the Renewable Integration (SE-91) stakeholder initiative. The Renewable Integration initiative was established to discuss how the IESO will adapt power system operations and the IESO-administered markets to accommodate increases in renewable generation.
