The IESO has reviewed the prudential framework in place to manage credit risk to the IESO administered markets and has concluded that the existing framework meets its objectives. This review is available and Market Participants are asked to provide comments on the IESO's assessment. For more details, see stakeholder engagement initiative: Prudential Review 2010.

The IESO undertook a comprehensive review of the prudential framework in 2007 (see SE- 23: Prudential Review) with several changes being adopted including a requirement to review the prudential framework at least once every three years.

Please provide your written feedback on the report by July 20, 2010 to engagement@ieso.ca. All comments received will be posted on the public web site. The IESO will respond to all submissions.
