Reliability Outlook Alignment

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is updating the Reliability Outlook and accompanying Methodology to enhance resource adequacy assessments and improve alignment across planning products. This technical information session will provide an overview of key changes, including updated weather and demand modelling approaches, shift to hydroelectric and wind probabilistic modelling, and adjustment to the reliability assessment and its impact to adequacy. The discussion will also cover the implications of these changes on the Adequacy Report and outage management processes.
