In this webinar the IESO will provide information on our internal review of planning assumptions related to resource adequacy. The IESO has identified areas where there may be opportunities to ensure reliability more cost-effectively. The engagement will provide stakeholders with an overview of the assumptions that feed our assessments, along with options to meet standards while balancing system costs, and will seek feedback on the methodology/assumptions.
The IESO will review and provide a response to stakeholder feedback received following the last webinar on May 21 and provide further details and proposed next steps on the options to address DR shut-down costs.
In this webinar the IESO will answer questions of clarification on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) Calculation Engine Detailed Design Document to inform written feedback.
