Evaluation, Measurement and Verification

In order to ensure that Save on Energy programs achieve their intended goals, provide value for ratepayers and identify opportunities for improvement, the IESO measures electricity savings and demand reductions from each program in market. In general, program evaluations include market assessments, process evaluations, retrospective outcome/impact assessments and cost-benefit evaluations as per the IESO Cost-Effectiveness Guide and IESO Cost-Effectiveness Tool.

The reports below are produced in accordance with IESO EM&V Protocols and Requirements and present energy and demand savings as well as recommendations for program improvements. The IESO will also make its responses to the recommendations for program improvement available on this web site.

Please refer to the IESO CE Tool User Guide for step-by-step instructions on how to use the IESO CE Tool.
