The IESO is seeking feedback on proposed updates to submission fees for energy, capacity, ancillary services, and transmission procurements to better reflect evaluation costs and support cost recovery.
The IESO is proposing a minor market rule amendment to remove a legacy requirement that the IESO Board directly set certain technical market parameters used in the calculation engines. This change will bring the treatment of the relevant parameters into alignment with the way in which other market requirements are established and reflected in the market rules and manuals.
The IESO is beginning work on the next provincial eDSM Achievable Potential Study. The study will estimate the quantity of cost-effective electricity demand savings potential and associated costs from energy efficiency, demand response, and behind-the-meter DER programs in Ontario. Please join this webinar to learn more and provide feedback on the study’s objectives, scope, approach, and timeline.
