Reminder: Call for Nominations - Stakeholder Advisory Committee

A reminder that the IESO is seeking nominations of qualified candidates to join the Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC). The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 29.
The SAC Terms of Reference sets out the qualifications and expectations of SAC members and is available on the SAC Membership web page. Nominations will be accepted to fill vacancies within the following four constituencies:
- Ontario Communities – persons representing communities, examples include municipalities, Indigenous, environmental, academia
- Consumers – persons representing consumers, examples include large commercial and residential consumers
- Distributors – persons representing local distribution companies
- Generators - persons representing electricity generators
The SAC gives senior stakeholder and community representatives the opportunity to provide policy-level advice and recommendations directly to the IESO Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team on matters relating to the IESO’s mandate and other matters that may be of concern to stakeholders and the general public. Members of the SAC are appointed by the IESO Board of Directors and serve a two-year term with the opportunity to be reappointed for up to two more, two-year terms.
Please submit nominations on behalf of yourself or another individual. Please include knowledge about both Ontario’s electricity sector and the constituency they represent, together with the nominee’s resume to engagement@ieso.ca.
