This engagement update provides a snapshot of all active IESO engagement activities and is updated on a monthly basis. It helps support a greater understanding of linkages between engagements, and a foundation for more comprehensive and integrated updates.
This session will continue discussion on the design of a Performance Adjustment Factor to be used in the capacity qualification process for all eligible Capacity Auction resources. Engagement will also begin on administrative updates for the 2023 Capacity Auction. A status update on the two stream engagement and implementation timeline presented in the January 2023 engagement session will be provided.
The IESO will provide an overview of the Hydrogen Innovation Fund’s Request for Proposals, including background information, goal and scope, project evaluation criteria and review process and timelines. Participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback to help inform the final proposal guideline and templates.
The IESO will provide an overview of key topics areas of the report and participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the future participation of existing resources based on uncertainties identified in the 2022 APO, including aging assets and market exit. This feedback will help the IESO assess potential risk to future resource adequacy and inform inputs to the analysis undertaken as part of the 2023 AAR.
