This engagement update provides a snapshot of all active IESO engagement activities and is updated on a monthly basis. It helps support a greater understanding of linkages between engagements, and a foundation for more comprehensive and integrated updates.
The IESO will highlight key design issues related to incorporating repowering into LT2 window 2 with reference to the latest batch of feedback received.
The IESO will share key findings from the 2026 Annual Planning Outlook and provide an opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback to help shape future outlooks. The session will also cover the 2027 Annual Planning Outlook electricity planning scenarios and how key macro, demand, and supply factors are considered.
This webinar will provide stakeholders with insights into market performance and operating conditions over the past winter season. The session will highlight key observations and trends, and address common questions received throughout the winter period. The IESO will also provide an update on stakeholder engagements related to the renewed market including the Renewed Market Advisory Forum.
The IESO will host an engagement webinar with consultant Cadmus to present draft modelling input assumptions for the 2026 Achievable Potential Study and solicit feedback. The webinar will include measure assumptions, demand forecast inputs, and avoided costs. Stakeholders will also be invited to provide feedback on an additional scenario/sensitivity being explored by the IESO.
