This layered map contains information on Ontario’s 21 energy planning regions, local distribution company service areas, transmission, grid-connected generation facilities over 20 MW, and the oil and gas pipeline network. Each layer of the map can be displayed independently or combined for comparison.
The Wind Power in Ontario Map demonstrates how wind power is contributing to the province’s electricity needs. It shows the forecast hourly wind output at a regional and province-wide level over the next 48 hours. It also shows the last available hour’s output of each wind facility, updated approximately 30 minutes past the hour.
