Call for Nominations - Renewed Market Advisory Forum

The IESO is seeking qualified candidates to join the Renewed Market Advisory Forum (RMAF), a structured channel for market participants, and other active members of the energy sector, to share insights, identify potential concerns, and collaboratively discuss enhancements to Ontario’s electricity market.
The IESO launched the renewed market on May 1, 2025, improving the way electricity is scheduled and priced across the province. These changes ensure that the IESO can continue to make the most cost-effective use of supply every hour of every day as the grid expands to meet growing demand and incorporate new technologies.
The IESO is accepting expressions of interest from individuals to join the RMAF who represent various participation types in the market, which may include:
- Consumers of electricity (including price responsive loads and dispatchable loads)
- Energy Traders (electricity importers and exporters)
- Generators of electricity (including gas, hydroelectric and renewables)
Individuals are asked to submit their expression of interest along with their relevant experience and resume to engagement@ieso.ca. Expressions of interest should be submitted by December 19.
