List of Potential Constrained Areas and Narrow Constrained Areas Available

The IESO has completed analysis of the Potential Constrained Areas (PCAs), based on historical constraint data observed after one year of the renewed market launch.
These PCAs have been made publicly available on Potential Constrained Areas web page and will be in effect as of November 16, 2026. IESO will monitor congestion patterns in these PCAs and may designate one or more of these areas as Dynamic Constrained Area (DCA) when criteria are met. DCAs reports will be published at:
