New “Registering an Organization and Authorizing as a Market Participant” Training Module Now Available

The IESO has launched a training module that provides an overview of how organizations register and become authorized to participate in the IESO-administered markets and systems.
The module builds on the foundational knowledge introduced in the Connecting to Ontario’s Power System eLearning course and provides a deeper exploration of Stage 4: Register and Authorize Market and Program Participation within the Six-Stage Connection Process.
The training module outlines the end-to-end process for registering an organization and obtaining market participant authorization, including eligibility requirements, required documentation, key process steps, approval timelines, and participant obligations based on the organization's participation type.
To take this module, please contact customer.relations@ieso.ca. Include the following in your email:
- Organization name
- First and Last name
- Course name
- Email that you would like us to use for your eLearning account registration (preferably your work email address)
