The IESO 2025 Annual Report is Now Available

It was a year defined by an exceptional pace of change for the IESO, the wider energy sector, and the world around us. In the face of global economic uncertainty, the IESO advanced efforts to transform and modernize Ontario’s electricity system to prepare for substantial demand growth and to build a more resilient and prosperous energy future.
The year was punctuated with several major milestones that will ensure the IESO continues delivering value for ratepayers while evolving to better serve customers and support economic growth. The 2025 Annual Report highlights some of the most notable achievements across areas like resource adequacy, energy efficiency, launch of the renewed market and expanded stakeholder and community engagement, among many others.
The IESO will continue to advance these actions throughout 2026 as it builds Ontario’s electricity system for future generations.
