Agreement with Bruce Power to Support Pre-development Work for the Bruce C Nuclear Project

The IESO has entered into an agreement with Bruce Power to support pre-development work for the Bruce C Nuclear Project. This funding will support engineering and site preparation work as Bruce Power moves towards the potential build out of Ontario’s first large-scale nuclear project in over 30 years. By enabling preparation and pre-development work for projects with significant lead times, we are ensuring the province is future-ready and prepared to meet electricity demand as it emerges.
