Major Projects Identification Committees Process - Reminder to Register

New mines, manufacturing facilities, housing developments, and transit projects are driving electricity demand across Ontario. To plan the system for this growth, the IESO is launching the Major Projects Identification Committees (MPIC) process.
The IESO is hosting a public webinar on May 25 to provide an overview of the new MPIC process and how it will support electricity planning and forecasting for Ontario’s growth. Developers, economic development organizations, Indigenous communities, and government entities looking to build in Ontario are encouraged to attend this webinar to learn about how this process can help prepare them for a formal grid connection application.
