St. Lawrence Scoping Assessment Outcome Report

To keep pace with the rapid growth and economic development in the St. Lawrence region, the St. Lawrence Region Technical Working Group (comprising the IESO, Hydro One Networks Inc., Cooperative Hydro Embrun Inc., Fortis Ontario Inc., and Rideau St. Lawrence Distribution Inc.) have implemented a streamlined regional planning process accelerating the Scoping Assessment.
This enabled the Technical Working Group to move directly into the development of an Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP) for the St. Lawrence region — and reflects feedback received through stakeholder engagement and aligns with government priorities around economic development.
This IRRP, covering the entire St. Lawrence region, commenced on April 14. Engagement will continue throughout the development of the IRRP with more details to follow. The St. Lawrence engagement webpage will be a source of ongoing information related to regional planning activities, including any upcoming engagement opportunities.
