PDAC 2026 Convention

The annual Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) convention kicks off in Toronto next week, and the IESO will be there to engage sector stakeholders and Indigenous communities on the intersection between Ontario’s electricity system and mining.
IESO Executive Vice-President Carla Y. Nell, Corporate Relations, Engagement and Strategy, will join Ontario Mining Association President Priya Tandon for a fireside chat exploring how the electricity and mining sectors can work collaboratively to navigate mutual challenges and build a more prosperous energy future. Members of the IESO’s Sector Engagement team will also be available for one-on-one conversations following the discussion.
