2025 Capacity Auction Qualification Window Now Open

The capacity qualification request submission window for the 2025 Capacity Auction is now open. Participants can submit and revise capacity qualification requests through the Online IESO platform for the resources that they wish to offer into the auction, up until the submission window closes on September 26. Once the window closes, the IESO will evaluate the requests and determine a qualified capacity value and auction deposit amount for each resource. Participants who meet the deposit deadline will be eligible to offer up to their qualified capacity into the 2025 Capacity Auction this coming November.
