Introduction to Virtual Trading Guide Updated

The IESO has posted an updated version of the Introduction to Virtual Trading training guide. This guide provides an overview of key concepts related to a virtual trader’s participation in the IESO-administered market, including registration, bidding and offering and settlements. This update includes details of the previously pending energy lamination volume limits and per transaction maximum MW quantity limits. These limits are required to ensure that virtual transactions can be accommodated in the market while preserving the efficiency of scheduling and pricing processes.
