Renewed Market Launch Readiness

The transition to the renewed wholesale electricity market will begin on Wednesday, April 30 with activities occurring over multiple days ending on Thursday, May 8. Over this period, the IESO will, step-by-step, launch a day-ahead market to complement a renewed real-time market. A webpage is available identifying key milestones during the transition period.
Several materials are available to support the transition and market participants are encouraged to review the MRP Readiness Plan for Market Renewal Launch.
Emails will be sent to market participants to confirm activities have started and to confirm completion of the launch (expected in the afternoon on May 2).
