MRP Launch on Track for May 1

The IESO has confirmed that the Market Renewal Program (MRP) is on track to proceed with the renewed market launch on May 1, 2025. With final preparations underway, the IESO will keep market participants updated should there be any changes to system conditions or readiness that may impact the May 1 date.
The IESO will be hosting an Overview of the Renewed Market Launch webinar on April 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. This webinar will be focused on final preparations for the launch of the renewed market and provide market participants and service providers with key information and reminders, including what to expect during the cutover period, and an opportunity to ask questions ahead of the launch.
