2025 Annual Planning Outlook is Now Available

The IESO’s 2025 Annual Planning Outlook (APO), a yearly forecast of electricity demand, supply and transmission outlooks, system reliability needs, and planned actions has been released.
The Annual Planning Outlook offers a long-term view of Ontario's electricity system, forecasting system needs, and exploring the province’s ability to meet them. It also includes predictive signals to support our sector in making informed decisions around their participation in the electricity sector, providing context to the many risks and uncertainties surrounding our sector, and specifying acquisition targets and mechanisms to meet needs in the years to come.
