Updates to the Renewed Market Rules and Manuals Library

As part of the implementation of the Market Renewal Program (MRP), the Renewed Market Rules and Manuals Library will need to be supplemented to include updates to market manuals and forms. This second MRP Baseline includes changes to market manuals that have been previously amended through MRP, as well as market manuals that are being amended for the first time.
The changes to market manuals and forms include the following:
- Renewed market manual updates identified through the testing of systems and processes under MRP;
- Revisions made to the legacy market manuals through the baseline process that need to be reflected in the renewed (zero series) market manuals;
- For some market manuals not previously released, changes required as a result of the implementation of MRP;
- Updates to document IDs and correction of typos identified in various market manuals; and
- Updates to forms for Market Power Mitigation and Prudential Support.
The documents will be available for review on Pending Changes - Documents on March 31 with the comment period ending on April 11.
Please note that the IESO typically runs a baseline process four times per year to revise market manuals and related documents that change as a result of recently approved Market Rule amendments or technical system changes. The posting noted above is not part of the standard baseline schedule but is a special baseline to support implementation of MRP.
