IESO Issues Sanction to Nexus Energy Inc.

The IESO, through its Market Assessment and Compliance Division (MACD), completed an investigation of Nexus Energy Inc. (Nexus) and found that between December 2017 and December 2023, Nexus failed a number of intertie transactions, which can adversely impact market prices, competitive outcomes and efficiency.
The investigation resulted in an order to adjust settlement amounts to recover $2.08 million. You can read more about this outcome on the IESO's website.
