New Webinar for Regional Electricity Planning in the Ottawa Area Sub-Region

Regional electricity planning has advanced for the Ottawa Area Sub-Region. An Integrated Regional Resource Plan (IRRP) will be developed to ensure a reliable supply of electricity and support local growth and economic development.
On Thursday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m., the IESO will host a webinar and share the analysis of Ottawa’s electricity needs and seek your feedback on the potential wire options. During the webinar, the IESO will also share details regarding a local achievable potential study that will identify and quantify electricity energy savings potential, electricity demand savings potential and associated costs attainable through energy efficiency and behind-the-meter distributed energy resources in the City of Ottawa.
