MRP Readiness Plan for Market Renewal Launch Now Posted

In preparation for the launch of the renewed market on May 1, 2025, the IESO has posted the MRP Readiness Plan for Market Renewal Launch on the Market Participant Readiness page.
Also known as the “MRP Go-Live Plan”, this document provides a comprehensive roadmap for the planned Market Transition, including pre-launch preparation milestones, activities and actions, as well as the specific cutover steps before, during and after the launch window.
The IESO is seeking feedback on the plan from Market Participants and stakeholders. The IESO plans to use this feedback to release a second version of this plan that addresses concerns and finalizes information that is currently “To Be Determined” where possible.
