2025 Annual Planning Outlook - Demand Forecast Public Information Session

The IESO is hosting a public information session on Wednesday, October 30th to preview the demand forecast for the 2025 Annual Planning Outlook, which accounts for the latest anticipated loads, including new electric vehicle (EV) production and supply chain factories, data centre proposals and decarbonization projects across the province.
The Annual Planning Outlook provides a long-term view of Ontario’s electricity system, assessing reliability, identifying needs, and exploring the province’s ability to meet them. A crucial insight that informs the Outlook is the demand forecast, which is updated every year to identify key growth drivers and the factors that influence them.
