AMO Conference Wrap-Up

The IESO was in Ottawa this past week for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) conference to engage municipal leaders on their critical role in the energy transition.
Over the course of the conference, IESO executives and staff connected with municipal representatives from across Ontario. Conversations focused on considerations when siting, developing, and installing new infrastructure as well as the importance of municipal decision making as we build out Ontario’s electricity system.
The IESO team appreciated the opportunity to connect and hear feedback from municipalities about the changing electricity landscape and how communities are shaping Ontario's energy future.
