IESO Receives 2024 ENERGY STAR Award This week, the IESO was honoured with the 2024 ENERGY STAR award for Energy Efficiency Program Administrator of the Year, joining a group of 31 businesses, organizations and institutions from across Canada that also received recognition for their achievements.
Through the Save on Energy brand, the IESO delivers energy-efficiency programs and incentives to homes, businesses and industries across Ontario.Last year, Save on Energy offered discounts and incentives for ENERGY STAR rated lighting and equipment as well as funding support for large energy retrofits to thousands of business customers. On the residential side, Save on Energy launched the Peak Perks program, which has enrolled over 130,000 smart ENERGY STAR rated thermostats.
This award reflects the contributions and hard work of everyone behind the scenes at the IESO that contributes to the success of Save on Energy’s programs and incentives. Conservation and demand management will continue to play an important role in ensuring the reliability of Ontario’s electricity system. The IESO looks forward to continuing to provide customers with programs, information and assistance to help them use energy wisely.
