The IESO's 2023 Annual Report is Now Available

As the economy continues to grow and electrify and the pace of work to decarbonize our electricity system accelerates, the IESO will continue to ensure the province has sufficient energy to meet its needs now and into the future. Our latest annual report provides an overview of how we did this in 2023 through projects and initiatives to drive and guide our rapidly evolving sector, ensure reliability while supporting cost-effectiveness and driving business transformation.
The IESO remains focused on delivering ratepayer value and results. In addition to the financial statements, the report describes some of the outcomes achieved in the areas of resource adequacy, market renewal, decarbonization, stakeholder and community engagement and innovation, among others. These efforts help ensure Ontario’s energy needs are met in the most cost-effective manner while supporting reliability and sustainability.
